In many traditions of Hoodoo and other forms of magic, a lodestone is used to attract money. Feeding the lodestone with bits of shavings will draw prosperity to you. You can place a small lodestone—because they are fairly heavy—in a pouch and carry it with you for financial success.
As it is a natural magnet, it is primarily used to attract things to the one using them. It attracts good luck, healing, love, success, etc. Often 2 are carried; one to repel bad luck and one to attract good.
